Graveyards are everywhere. They can be found in almost every city in the country.
They are a place to put flowers, and to remember our loved ones who have passed.
They are filled with historical information. Many gravestones tell a story about
the person who is buried there. Some cemeteries are found in very prominent
areas, while others are found on back roads and in the middle of the woods. Have
you ever asked yourself why are cemeteries where they are? There are many different
theories as to their placement. Some say they are built on sacred ground.
Some say that those that made the decisions to place cemeteries were lead there
by a strong desire and no other place would do. So, what are cemeteries, other
than a place for people to be laid to rest when they die? Why are cemeteries
so active with paranormal activity? Is it because it is a portal to the other
side? Is it so active because the spirits that are in a cemetery can communicate
with other spirits and that is why the gather there? These are questions that
we at GSGI are hoping to find the answers to in the process of our research. |
